Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 458 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 458 | Not much to look at, but here are some pic's of my '66 K10, or Model 1504 (1/2 ton, stepside, long bed 4x4). It has the stock 250 ci engine and three on the tree tranny. The only "fancy" option I see is the windshield washer. This was a one-owner vehicle until I bought it a couple weeks ago and it was last inspected and on the road in 2008. 1966 K10 4x4 Pickup George | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,426 ODSS President | | ODSS President Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,426 | George, slap a home-made paint job on there and call her done. Nice truck!!

Sorry for the delay in getting pic's.
Mechanically sound is all I'm looking for. I want it to look like a beater. John- I'd ask you to shoot me if I start another restoration, but my wife will do that for me.

I spent all day yesterday swapping out the exhaust/intake manifolds and carb... runs like a top now. That 250 ci engine has a lot more power than I was expecting. The truck has a lot of body issues, but I plan to leave it as is. I think I'll put "Farm Use" tags on it for a while and run it around to see how it does. I'll also use it as a firewood truck back in the woods. No big plans for this rig!
