Cant figure out why right signal light flashes fast and left normal, also wired in electric guages to fuse box (previous owner put in aftermarket fuse block with new style fuses)when i turn signal lights on lights on guages faintly flash, also i had wire tester ( the kind with light to find power) had negative clip to negative post on battery with battery terminal removed and not touching anything, and when i touched pointer end of tester to any metal surface on truck got a faint light appeared,OK,now does fuse block have to be grounded, but its made of some hard plastic, not sure if it is grounded somewhere cause of all the wires coming out of it,,my thoughts is a bad ground somewhere, making signal lights act strange and guage lights flash when signals are on,and the tester light faintly lighting up when only grounded to battery post on battery and pointer touching metal or am i completing circut with tester?,,any help would be appreciated,,Thanks

Hy shaker, your fuse block does not need to be gounded, and probably shouldn't be, the fuse block is nothing but a buss bar that wires are connected to through fuses. It does sound like you have a lack of ground wires/bad grounds in your vehicle. It is not possible to have too many ground wires.

run a separate ground from the tail light housing that blinks fast to the frame. Usually it's a body ground problem

Check your bulb sizes. A flasher works by the bi-metalic heating up and expanding and breaking connection, then cooling and making connection. A flasher working more quickly on one side than another is usually either mismatched bulbs or mismatched amount of bulbs. Bad ground will slow them down, not speed them up. Unless what you think is "normal" is actually the slower, than it could be a ground problem.

also check if the right part of the bulb is lighting for brakes and stop, running filament dimmer and that would cause a difference too, probably just paint in the threads though.
