I'm posting s few pictures to see if anyone else has had the same experience. The headliner retainer that I purchased seems to weigh a few pounds and is extremely difficult to put in. Tried using dish soap to lube it up, didn't work.
Finally my wife and I got it in by lubing it up with petroleum jelly (Vaseline), and lots of cuss words.
Probably the worst part of the whole body off resto!
BTW, my retainer came from Classic Parts, maybe someone makes one that's easier to install?
