I have been following you guys for a while. I'm in, once I get the tranny in and back on the road. Keep me in mind if you find a tranny for sale or a up coming swap meet.

Welcome Parisenne!

54John3100: You should send 3B a message and see if he has any parts that will help you out... with any luck he does...

Have you checked out Craigslist Vancouver? Pretty sure I have seen some old trannies for sale there quite recently... search by 1955, 1956, 1957 etc and you should find the ads I'm talking about... good luck!

Still in Whonnock. And truck is still up on stands. I am working on the rust holes on my cowls. Also, have been preparing for the long awaited new garage. Clearing out a spot.

Hey guys, checking in a little late. I haven't been on here too much these days. I haven't seen or talked to any of you since the Ladner show in 2010! Got a bigger workshop and another truck. I picked up a 1964 3/4 ton long box for $500 bucks. I just bought it for the running gear to stuff into my 34 but I like the body so much I think I will try and keep it. Not much progress on the 34, replacing the wood skeleton is hard. Lots of trial and error, but mostly error. Keep me posted and I will try and make it out to something. Would be more fun if I didn't have to drive my wife's toyota though. One day boys, one day.....

I've just been lurking in the back ground for now, hopefully I'll be driving my truck by the summer. It's a 59 short box, fleetside, big rear window that's going to stay stock. It will be cardinal red and bombay ivory. Can't wait! I've had it for 20 years.
