Any idea where I might be able to get a tonneau cover for the 55 3200 I got from Dennis?

Anyone make these? I'd like a soft one if possible.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Probably have to have one custom made. The '55-early '57 3200 and 3600 used a 7 1/2 foot bed. Most tonneau cover manufacturers do not make one to fit that particular bed.

Thanks Bill I am looking at that now.

Need these dimensions checked.

My 3200 is in storage for the winter and not easy to get to. I think that the inside bed dimensions are 50" wide by 90" long. If you truck is easily available, could you check these for me?

Any help appreciated.

I had a cover on a '48. It was just the material that an upholstery shop sewed up. Sometimes boat shops make custom covers for boats as well. It was a basic square pattern with the edges sewn over. Snaps were screwed in place on the rim of the bed. A 2x4 was cut to fit (notched) in the middle holes across the bed, and then the top of it cut off in a rounded shape. I thought it was very simple and nice looking. Here is a picture of the truck.

I have the custom tonneau on order from Truxedo, quotes for the same article came in all over the place, got it for $100 cheaper than most dealers with free shipping to Maine. It really is worth shopping around.

Looks like it will be pretty neat.

I'll post pics when I get it set up in the spring.

Did they match the paint on the truck?
