The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed Has anyone used pros pick products??

I am just curious if anyone has used this company. I am considering buying a complete bed box, tailgate, roll pan and bed cover from them. From what they show on they're website the stuff they build looks to be high quality. I am basically looking for reviews. Thanks

Have not used them or heard of them till you mentioned them. I do hear a lot about Mar-K's quality and they answer questions here in the Bed forum and they're USA made. I have heard many compliments of their quality and they DO offere free shipping quite often. Check them out while doing your home work.

Several years ago I bought the set up from MacHils in Mo. and while mine was good stuff that was years ago and I have not heard much about them lately.

My only dealings with them was for bed roll LED lights,so I can't comment on their beds though.
They were a reasonable company to deal with and I have no complaints.

Like Alvin says,Mar-K seem to be "the guys" as far as a lot of folks here proclaim.
Not to mention Mar-K are much closer to you.
They quite often have promotions and discounts for 'bolters too.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them but I have logistical reasons,shipping heavy bulky parts to the UK,the costs would kill me,or the wife might......

I have made contact with the gentleman at pros pick and they are willing to bring the bed to ky at no additional charge. From what I gathered in the conversation he travels to fl pretty often so if you live close to I-75 he will bring it to you. I am still shopping but I really like the clean look of they're roll pan and tailgate. He is also the only company that I have been able to find that makes a bed cover for the 41-46 trucks. Does anyone else make the covers that anybody knows of??

If it's a custom look you're aiming for,and the shipping's free it might be the one for you.
I realise it's hard to tell from a glossy brochure about the quality,but Pro's Pick seem to have been around for quite a while.
They must be doing something right......

I actually called back and ordered a complete box from them. He custom fabs the bed covers. They are a bit pricy though $1750. But he is going to install it on my box for that price and it comes with the actuators and switches. I would think that any good upholstery shop could make a soft cover for you but I have also never seen one without buttons. I bet you could have pros pick build the frame and cover it with soft material. I would not hesitate to give them a call and see what they say.
