can anyone post pics of how the rear cab mounts are installed? I know it's not much but i hink some parts maybe missing.My manual does not show them.

You should get a Factory Assembly Manual.

Some do have a shim between the mount and cab bottom. Shims are used to obtain the factory diminsions called out in the shop manual.

My 50 3100 did not have any shims.

The shims can go to the frame or the body some have none at all. I have seen some trucks that have as many as five shims. The threaded lock plates go inside the cab to prevent the bolts from pulling through the sheet metal. If you install new rubbers in them and clean them up they work as good as new.

What ca' mean Kevin, "NO way to a manual...." every vendor out there sells manuals for
nearly every year Chevy truck that was ever built. And if you can't afford twenty bucks
for a manual then you can always refer to this till you can:

And after you can afford a manual it wouldn't hurt to send off a couple of bucks to
TOCMP to help keep it going for future newbies.
And if you're patient enough 99% of the time the guys will come thru for ya here.

If you are too cheap to buy a manual for your truck, you are in the wrong hobby and you are going to be very frustrated wrenching on your project.

As Denny stated above, new shiny reprints of the shop manuals, the supplements, the owner manual, the factory accessory assembly manual and the factory assembly manuals are available for these old trucks.
