Visit often as there is always something good going on here on the Bolt. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 14 | Okay, so I got the 41 in my garage and have started breaking it down. The body pieces are in good to fair condition and only one rust spot on the cab just above the windshield. I'll need new rear fenders, and a tailgate, but everything else just needs a little tlc. Okay alot of tlc. My question today for all of you experts here is in regards to the chassis. I'm interested in giving my truck a more modern suspension. What have you guys commonly used for a rear end and front end. I just want to get some input as to what has worked the best for some of you. Pictures will be coming soon. Mods, if this need to be moved out of this category. please do so or advise me. (This would be a good for a couple other forums. The mods will guide us) | | | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 14 | Thanks Achipmunk. I've got some ideas. There's a guy who's doing a 40 truck hangs out here, here's a link to his Flickr page it might serve as some inspiration...... The engine might be a tad 'different' from the norm, but I like the idea of the Jag suspension. Good luck! Jock.
