19536400 New Guy 1 Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 3 las vegas nevada	ive got a 1951 panel that we use for deliveries here in vegas and am going to pull the small block out and install a 5.9 cummins out of a dodge pickup allready have the adapters for the 700r4 i have in it now will up date more when this one gets started as i have a 6400 im doing also and have to wait till its done to tear this one apart

Hotrod Lincoln Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) H Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,803 Dellrose, TN	You'll need to do some major beefing-up on the front suspension to carry the weight of the Cummins engine, and the transmission will need to be built up to Corvette specifications, including changing to the deep-capacity overdrive clutch drum to handle the torque of that engine. 19536400 New Guy 1 Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 3 las vegas nevada	trans was built before it was installed with this in mind it currently has a 400 small block in it now and its only a 160 horse 5.9 with no plans to mod it as once this truck is completed it is going to washington dc when we open up our new store
