I am rebuilding a 1950 3100 chevy truck, and am working on the brake
& clutch pedal.
I bought the new bushing for the shaft pivot arm from Jim Carter,
but the shaft has steps worn in it.
Does any one make a replacement shaft, for this PROBLEM, can you help?

I would put a post in parts wanted section and get a replacement there are alot of bare frames out there that have good ones on them,I had one but gave it to a father and son that were going to build a truck.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Had the same problem... took the pedal assembly completely apart, welded up the worn areas on the pins (watch your HEAT! they're hollow!), turned them down in a lathe, reinstalled with new bushings. Like new again!
