New cap and rotor new plugs new points and condenser Before new cap I had no spark at #3. With new cap it changed to #5 no spark. Idles fine but hit the gas and it breaks up bad. I have not pulled the distributor out and physically looked at it. I was thinking since it's the stock one that maybe the 12v was to much for it. I think you should check for wear in the distributor bushings.
