Was doing some research on the web and this site kept popping up for info on my old "stovebolts", so I thought I would join up.  I have been a "pickup man" since I was a kid. My first truck was a 53 GMC when I was 15. Now I am almost 45 and still cant get enough of them. My daily driver is a 79 K10 long box, 65k original miles. Current projects that I cant seem to work on include a 41 Chev and a 69 GMC, working on aquiring a 63 GMC stepside as well. I work at the local bodyshop here in Lusk,WY and last winter we finished up a complete resto on a sweet 72 Suburban. I am sure I will have plenty of questions for everyone, and hope I can toss my two cents in when it can be of use. First question, do I just link to my photobucket account for inserting images? I just got through putting together a photobucket album that is site friendly. Here is the link... http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e229/sampamandfam/My%20pickups/The blue 79 is my driver, the 41 I am still looking for a few parts but have a pretty good idea on direction, the green 69 GMC I just bought and dont even have it home yet, needs an engine and radiator. The 62-3 GMC stepside is one I hope to get soon. The blue 72 Suburban we restored last winter at the shop I work at, and the 57 is a friends that I painted 5 years ago for him and helped him put it together. Maybe one day one of mine will look that nice.  ...just uploaded pics of another friends 52 Chev Panel, I did just about everything but the paint on that one.
