Before I stripped them I noticed a wear line on the lower portion of the panel. Is there some type of seal that is missing to keep the paint from wearing a line on my newly painted panels.
I've noticed this on other trucks for sale as well. ...just as info. My door panels were so beat up I covered them with some thin foam and fabric. When I closed the door the rubber strip let a "mark" on the fabric and it also caused the door to bulge just a little. I knew my doors did not, and have not, shut the best since I did the truck. So, I ended up taking a razor blade and just cutting/trimming the cotton picking rubber seal off. The doors shut better then! | | |
