I finally finished the wood in my bed and got it bolted down. I used 3 coats of Pelucid and 4 coats of Minwax Helsman Spar Urethane.

I chose poplar from a local lumber yard here in town and gave them the dimension and a diagram of how to make the cuts. I think it turned out nice.

OOOOoo, it did turn out nice and those black strips really set it off. Nice/good work.
