I have been successfully in unsticking one of 2 valves and will unstick the other this weekend and hopefully bring this girl back to life. (fingers crossed). My question is, Is there a difference in push rods for the 235? I have seen this stuff about hydrolic lifters and I am not sure if I have those are not and if it makes a difference with the type of push rod that I buy. The folks at NAPA althought nice, dont know much either.
Block number is 3764476 and Head casting # is 3836848. I think I have a 57 Head and a 58-62 block if that helps anything. | | |

I don't know about the pushrods but as Dave said, I think they are the same for solid or hydraulic lifter. The important thing will be to determine which lifter you have so you can adjust it/them properly. Pulling the side cover would provide a visual ID and is probably the best method.
