Will a newer head from a late 50's 235 work for the motor with the new cam that I have? I do have the other 235 as well or am I better off having the head Milled. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | 1954-62 will all interchange and use the four bolt valve cover. 1956-62 will need a reducer in the temp sender hole if you are using this in a vehicle with a mechanical temp gauge.

My Blog | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,513 | Get yourself one of these (Norton part number JB8) and a can of WD-40 and move it over the head in a figure 8 motion occasionally spraying the WD-40 directly on the stone to clean it and in no time it will look like it was just resurfaced.
