I have 54 235 motor that I pulled apart several years ago had all together but the head bought wrong camshaft now have the correct cam for the motor but the head has been sitting in my garage and has some rust on it. Will a newer head from a late 50's 235 work for the motor with the new cam that I have? I do have the other 235 as well or am I better off having the head Milled.

1954-62 will all interchange and use the four bolt valve cover.
1956-62 will need a reducer in the temp sender hole if you are using this in a vehicle with a mechanical temp gauge.

Get yourself one of these (Norton part number JB8) and a can of WD-40 and move it over the head in a figure 8 motion occasionally spraying the WD-40 directly on the stone to clean it and in no time it will look like it was just resurfaced.
