Hello all,
I learned about this forum after buying a 57 swb step side project. Looks like alot of good people and info here. I hope to be of some help to all as I have been a ASE tech since the early 70's.
Ron

Welcome Ron, you came to the right place. What does your truck need? Is it a project or is it good to go?

Welcome Ron. Thanks for adding your expertise to the Stovebolt. I am a California boy but have many good memories of summer vacation trips in the late 1940's to my mom's home town of Lineville, Iowa.

It' a project. I bought from a guy who had it for 6 years and had started a frame off. 355,350 turbo 9 inch ford. Lots of good stuff but a lot in boxes ready to be installed. I am making it my winter project. No glass, wiring, lights etc. Body is partialy done, but bad box. Should be fun to see if I can get it on the road by spring.
Thanks
Ron

Thanks for the welcome. We used to ride our motorcycles all the time to Lineville to little cafe there. It was always a fun trip.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
