Well picked up a 52 2 ton 6400 series chevy with dump bed. Got it on a trade and definatly think i got the better deal. After reading some good info on here, i learned the engine. Is a 55 261 with a 235 head, im not sure if they drilled the steam holes. I have big plans in my head but things always change. As of now im just trying to get it on the road. Ordered a new fuel tank and carb, then get the brakes working and a few odds and ends and it should be on the road.

Welcome, there's a separate forum just for big bolts. Hope she's on the road soon.

Welcome to the Bolt Etraugott. Neat to have a big bolt. A truck will pay its way when a car is just an abcess on a mans pocketbook smile

Glad to have you join us. See ya around the garage.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
