What are you guys using to adapt a comp. tester to these older motors ?

I know that KD and Snap On both have them. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | And some compression testers have a rubber tip but you need to hold it in place. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,760 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,760 | An adapter can be made from a discarded spark plug shell with a little creative drill & tap work. File or grind the crimp away that holds the porcelain center in place, remove it, and tap the shell for the 14MM thread that the later-model engines use. Then thread the adapter onto your compression tester. Jerry
