Hello fellow bolt heads(which are real similar to nuts) Have lurked this site before but am a new member. My love of old GM trucks is NOT new. My first car was a '48 1 ton P/U. My third was a '66 chev panel, Ressurected from the weeds. It finally got beyond a 20 year olds means to keep going but I have fond memories of my "ugly truck". I also still have my grandfather's 54-1st, It is pretty rough and I haven't done much to it in years, so It will probably become a donor for my new project. I recently bought a 51 GMC panel, out of space, more later...

I probably paid too much for It, but, I WANTED IT. I have been looking for this truck for 30 years. Looking forward to tinkering, and chatting with everyone. will post pics as soon as I figure it out.

Welcome, AKSRT8, to the 'bolt! If you have been looking around here for a while, then you are probably already familiar with the various forums and their topics.

You mentioned that you were running out of space. In the upper right-hand corner of the text box there are two black arrows. Numerous clicks on the down arrow will lengthen the text box and make it easier to type as much as you want.

Looking forward to hearing more about the trucks, the story behind 'em, future plans, etc... AND of course, seeing pictures!
