I was wondering if anyone knew the size screw that goes in the inner window trim. I assume I'm not going to be able to find any clutch head originals. LMC has part number 30-0946 that are black, but I'd rather just buy screws from a local place than pay $20 to get 14 of them shipped to me. It would be a different story if they were original looking. Thanks,

Andy

These screws are usually chrome plated or SS phillips type. I can measure them for you but will tell you the hardware store versions are usually a slightly different style.

I bought screws from The Truck Shop for the interior garnish on my '54 3100. As Brad noted, I couldn't find some of the trim screws locally. I haven't reinstalled my garnish yet, so I can't tell you how well the screws match the originals in look and fit.

Andy -

I want to confirm my answer to your question. I installed the interior trim in my '54. I was correct in my original post ...

The #8 screws with #6 heads from the Truck Shop matched the original trim screws exactly. The "interior screw kit" from the Truck Shop did not match the originals. The "interior kit" screws were #8 with #8 heads. The only "kit" that I used were the screws for the lower door seal retainers.

FWIW - Headlight bezels also use #8 w/#6 heads.
