Hi all,
I'm on my way to pick up my '38 farm truck. It was purchased new from Deichert Chevrolet in Flasher, ND.
The original Deichert building is on my cousin's farm having been moved there in the 1950's.

I have a '67 F**d Mustang convertible that I have restored to a very nice driver.(hence my profile name).

I have recently retired from being a tile contractor and am going to use this truck to keep me busy. I've always been good with mechanical and hands-on projects.

I look forward to getting to know some of the people here and gleaning their knowledge about this old truck.

Please put up with my ignorant questions when they come up.

Glad to be here,
Wayne

Welcome to the Stovebolt Wayne. Thats an interesting story. All we need now is some pictures smile

We are all learning here so there is no stupid or ignorant questions. Post them in the right forum and some one will be there to help.
Good luck on your project.... and if you ever get close to S.C. please drop by.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Howdy Wayne67vert

ShepFL here. Been lurking on this site and OLDGMCTRUCKS for some time. Just registered this past week.

I am in Sanderson FL (dead center between Jacksonville and Lake City).

Be the person you would want as a friend because at the end of the game the King and Pawn go in the same box.

Hi Allen and Shep, It looks like we're starting to have a Florida group here. I think there are a couple more in the panhandle.

Please post photos of your trucks.

Mine is currently in pieces waiting for parts and me.
