| | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 135 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 135 | I installed a new rear tail light harness on my 64 k10. Electical worked perfectly before replaced everything. Now the left signal blinks in the "hazard" sequence. The right tail light works fine. Brake lights work fine too. Only the left signal when switched has the hazard light sequence. I mounted the bed with rubber bushings/pads. I first thought the tail lights lost ground with the bushingsz/pads in place....I ran a ground from each taillight to a clean bolt ....thinking I've got ground.
Any one have thoughts on what might be going on? I should also add that I have running lights on the roof and the now blink withe the left signal too.
Appreciate any thoughts. John

| | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 | My thought is you have managed to hook the blinking roof lights in parallel with the left signal light. The relay blinks faster because you have increased the current load through it by adding the roof lights. Just pull the bulbs in the roof lights and see if the left turn light doesn't "calm" down. If it does, then start to look for the uh-oh.
