Hi, Everyone..when I saw this 36 Suburban on ebay I couldn't believe my eyes...as it seemed all there. It has been sitting for 46 years inside two garages for that period. The man that owned it intended to restore it, but never had the funds to really do it justice. It comes in two weeks to me up in Northern Idaho. We live in Sandpoint and have a collection of rare Chevys: 36 low cab pickup, 41 five passenger Special Deluxe Coupe, 41 Chevy Cantrell Woodie..and this 36 Suburban will be the jewel of the Chevy group. I appreciate all the help and leads that anyone cares to share with me. Here is the link to the photos of the Suburban. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bduykers/6182193922/in/photostream

I briefly thought of bidding on that truck. I know of a 1936 GMC 1/2 ton close to me and was thinking of mating the two into a GMC suburban. Good luck on the restoration of it.

That looks like a great truck, even has the split panel doors on the back. Nice and complete.

That's a nice truck. I saw it on E-bay as well. Sandpoint...stop at Joe's Philly Cheesesteak downtown. The owner John is my uncle. Kyle

Very cool truck. I am originally from Sandpoint area and now living in FL. Came down here courtesy USN and stayed on.

My family lives in Post Falls and Lewiston. I come out to visit as $$ permits. Not to many flights into Spokane from East Coast smile

Love breakfast at the Hoot Owl. Gal that runs the place was my younger brother's fancy some years ago.

Be the person you would want as a friend because at the end of the game the King and Pawn go in the same box.
