I've got the window washer fluid jar bracket for my '51 but no jar and pump assembly. I saw a full reproduction of it months ago but forgot to bookmark the webpage.

Does anyone know where I can find a kit with the glass jar etc?

Good question. I need one myself. I saw one on Ebay once and I believe I saw one at Impala Bob's site.

Maybe this will help your search, the bottle and related parts should look like this for a 1951 vintage truck.

I have a pdf of the instructions I can e-mail to you if interested.

These shots are from a 1951 Truck Accessories Filmstrip:

Try sending a message to " 1958GMCNut "
He was showing me a glass washer bottle that he recently purchased from someplace in California.

Back in college, we used to run the tubes into the glove box, and fill the washer bottle with vodka.

Ahh, so you were one of those party guys, now we know why you were teaching auto mechanics instead of physics.

In high school, which took place mostly in the winter around here, we used to keep our beer in front of the radiator behind the grill, kept it cold and the cops couldn't find it if we got pulled over. That's why I'm just an old burned out mechanical technician instead of a teacher.

Thanks.

I've got a couple jars and one of them is a complete kit. Not sure the years. Can't seem to get any interest in them. How can I tell what year they are? Scott

That may be true but the Brothers site that I come up with doesn't have an
online catalog, at least I couldn't find any way of navigating it.

I could not find the bottle on the Brother's site but can tell you the original glass bottle on mine is dated coded on the bottom (many are). Also if you purchase NOS it is easy to reference from the part number on the box if included. Here are the pictures of my set-up. A word of caution and original or partial set-up can be spendy on eBay. Mine complete was $220 which was on the cheap end of what some are going for.

I requested a free catalog. I know this is the age of digits but there seems to be alot more items in the paper. Catalog volume 11, number 6 page 139. Reproduction Part no. wbk4767. Hope you find what you're looking for..
