This is Rusty, My 1951 3100 Rusty Link It all started with a cab, given to me as a 1949, it's not according to the vin# it's a '51 but that's just fine. Rusty is built from about a dozen different trucks including two different GMC's (Fenders and Flatbed). It is currently working in my backyard as a very patient plant holder but Rusty and I have plans. A 235 that is too "hopped up" for it's owners sedate '49 Fleetline but will be just fine for my truck. I have decided to build Rusty...well....rusty. I have no intention on adding paint, polish, chrome or anything "new looking". When I add new parts, hopefully new old ones, I will let nature take its course and let the patina start. More later....

Hey Rusty, I've always said trucks pay their way while a car is a canker sore on a mans pocketbook. Your moving right along. Thanks for the pics and keep us posted.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Bad rust and worse wiring, but so much fun.
