For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 207 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 207 | I've added a few more pictures about the resoration. I've cut out and welded the floor pans and rockers. I've redone the seat. I added a vacuum gauge from a pontiac. I'm currently putting the bed wood in. I went with poplar and I'm going to clear coat it. I love the grain in the poplar. I've never been a fan of oak for anything even though it is everywhere in my house.
This site has been a great resource.

Love the red exterior and red and white interior. Will the exterior be all red or have a white top or something? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 438 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 438 | looks great, and ditto Adam61's question on the color scheme. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 207 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 207 | Would have responded earlier but we drove to the Notre Dame v. Michigan football game in Ann Arbor. What an awesome game! Too bad I'm a ND fan though.
Anyway, I plan on painting the roof white like the originals were. I'm thinking of the interior having some white also. Maybe the roof and down the pillers. I think it will brighten it up a lot. I'm torn though because I love that silverish interior also.
Thanks guys!
