I really like the idea that GMC had using the 4 headlights insted of the 2 that Chevy used.

How hard would it be for me to swap the 4 headlights over to my old 2 headlight truck?

Mine is a 64 C10 Stepside.

And just curious if any of you builders have added power mirrors to your 60's truck?

Thanks,
Scott

I believe the headlamp harness running from the dimmer switch to the radiator support is the same from 60-66. The difference in the headlamp harness going to the bulbs begins after the radiator support. You should be able to just bolt in the other grille, and plug the headlamp harness into the existing bulkhead connector.

The only real difference between the 2 light and 4 light harness is an extra pair of wires running from the high beam filament on the low beam lights to the high beam lights.

I have a 66 gmc, one thing I did was to install relays for low and high beams so the bulbs get plenty of voltage and my poor old headlight switch gets a break, bought halogen bulbs at O'reileys $7.00 each, now I can actually see at night......Kieth

If you choose to upgrade to relays, the following link may help:

60-61 also had 4 headlights so you could have a chevy style grill.
