Hello all,
I aquired a 1952 Chevy 3600 for Father's Day last year and am finally trying to rebuild it. Well a friend is helping because I ended up heading to Afghanistan during the time I was going to try to get her running. I have a 292 L6 waiting to be rebuilt and I am about to purchase the kit. I just need to know what the best piston size and baring size is to go with. The engine will be taken into town to be reubuilt by Hedahl's Auto Parts. I just need to know what to order. The engine came out of a 1970's GM truck. Thank you for any help.

-Greg

Hi Greg,welcome from Scotland.

Although I'm over the pond I thank you and our 'Brit' military guys for your service.

Regarding your engine queries, try posting this in the engine shop/hi-po forum, you'll get a better response there.
The Stovebolt gurus will keep ya right!

Good luck.
Jock.
P.S. Pics would be nice.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
