What is the attached? I took it off
my 46 1/2 and don't remember were it came from or what it is. I hope this works as it is the first time I have used Photobucket!!

Looks like some kind of electrical contacts, did it come out of the headlight buckets. I don't recall seeing anything like that in my 41, I'll look next time i'm at the shop. Dave

Homer,
Thank you for your response. Like you I think it is an electrical part. I think the part may have come off either inside or outside the firewall, floor and not the headlight buckets as I only have one. Lesson learned , take pictures !!!Refurbishing 101, take a lot of pictures!!!

I have a 46 1/2 ton torn apart too. It does not look familiar. I did not take the heater apart. Maybe it goes inside the heater.

if it is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" and 3/4" thick it is a clutch / brake pedal pad. Bolt under the floorboard to keep pedals from hitting metal to metal.

I would not have figured it out as none of my pictures show the back side of the floorboard.
