Sold my 65 last year to get a life long dream car, a C5 convertible so now that, that is out of the way, decided it was time to get another truck. Needs a fair amount of fixin but the body is fairly solid. The last owner did not take great care of it for his 15 year term and let several things slide. Have several posts on various sites looking for parts to get her back up to standards. A local Stovebolter has come through with a much needed original seat and have a line on a windshield. Far from being a show truck and won`t be slammed, lowered, blinged out or painted some loud colour while on my watch. Planning to use it as a daily driver and really like the "patina" so doubt it will see paint.

Nice truck, I would like to sell mine and start over with somthing like that. Really don't want a rat-rod but would be fun to have a sleeper.

That looks like a great starter truck. That will make your restoration so much easier. Most of us take on rust buckets...you know who you are!

That is one of the best looking models of Chevy trucks, including this years model. Have fun...

Ah no!!
Sorry I missed the bbq at 3b`s but did get out there the next day for a seat.
Since I brought it home I replaced the rear end with the right one, had the seat covered, rewired it, re and re both front fenders for issues the po could not figure out, new glass in the doors and a load of other issues. I have a T5 with spacer ready to go in her along with an HEI distributor, newer model carb and a pair of Fenton splits.
Now having light problems as in none. Heading to Monroe next week for more parts.
