The speedometer worked for about a mile then stopped working. Probably remove the cable tomorrow. It could be the drive gear in the transmission, the driven gear, the cable or the speedometer unit. Finished installing rebuilt gauges. Look great and they all work. The speedometer seems to read slower than the actual speed. When travelling at 45 according to the speedometer, actual speed as shown on my Garmen GPS read 55. I'm using a stock speedometer and cable hooked up to a T5 transmission. Any ideas for calibrating? Guess I'll need to watch my speed. Do not want a ticket. Easy to drive fast with the rebuilt 261 and T5. | | |
