For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 4 | Like it says, I'm from Ohio. Me and my 61 Apache C10 Stepside Longbed have been looking over this great site for the last 2 years. And I'm still lost. I have numerous questions. So if someone can guide me around the site a bit. It would be a great help top me. This truck, hereafter refered to as Phantom 309 has brought up questions I can't answer. Just yet anyways. Thanks everybody. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 738 | If you start out on the homepage, just below the "Stovebolt Page" heading is a bright blue band with choices. I would click on "Forum". Scroll down and you will see the "Parking Lot" "Shop Area" "Swap Meet" "FrontOffice" "Event". Off topics can be discussed in "The Greasy Spoon". A good truck question can be asked in "General Truck Talk" They will help you find an answer to your questions. Then go back to "HOME". Check out the Gallery to see all the trucks and their stories. Click on the picture of your truck year and you can read all about other 61 Apaches. I use the "Back" arrow to get out after each truck I look at. I hope this is what you are looking for. If you still have trouble, you can email me at [email protected] Good luck ... The HOME page is always at the very bottom of these pages. Like Joy said, welcome to the 'bolt, and fire away with your questions. Undoubtedly, someone on here (and usually several) will have the info or advice you need.

Joy has given some good advice/instructions and I might add to take your time to start but the more your involved with whats going on the sooner you'll just ZIP through the forums...and the best way to get involved is by asking questions about your truck. The more you learn the more you can help others when "us old guys" have passed on!!! ...and some Pictures, don't forget some pictures | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 457 | RonsRides, Welcome to the 'bolt! As mentioned, lot's of answers (and some B.S.) available here!! Enjoy and ask away. Yes, PICTURES!

The Answers you seek are just a click away. I've found this by far,one of the easiest sites to navigate around. The Stovebolt computer gurus have put a lot of time and effort into making this place 'idiot proof.' I should know...... Good luck! I am just waiting for the Stovebolt powers that be to activate my profile gallery page. I've been lurking as a guest for a while and got my techie wife to submit me and Phantom 309 here. Love the things I have found. | | |
