Longbox, I beg to differ with you. I have sent you pictures. 4:10 4:11 Eaton Ho52 Eaton Ho 72, Spicer 70 Dana 70 Dana/Spicer 70 , There are differences. One fits 1947 thru 195? 3/4 -1 ton Eaton axels, the other does NOT. Most Eaton 3rd members from a 1967 thru 1972 with an auto tranny fits our 1947 thru 195? rear axels. Dana /Spicers DO NOT! Dana/Spicers are an entire different shape than Eaton. NO WAY you can fit that into an Eaton Axel! The Eaton 4:11 3rd has 37 ring gear teeth and 9 pinion gear teeth. The last time I divided 37 by 9 = 4.111111111111111 ect. Does the Dana/Spicer have 41 ring /10 pinion teeth? that would equal 4:10. To make a Dana /Spicer work , you would have to change out the entire rear axel. Correct me if I am wrong and I will eat6 my words plus my entire rear axel from my 51 chevy 1 ton. Respectfully submitted, Jerry
