For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 202 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 202 | On drum brakes there is a long shoe and a short shoe. It has been a several years since I have done drum brakes so I am having trouble remembering if the long shoe goes on the front or rear position of a given wheel. My 54 shop manual (I have a 3100) shows a photo but doesn't indicate if it is the left or right side of the truck.
A refresher on this on this important point would would be greatly appreciated.
