I cant say thank you enough to you all with your wealth of knowledge as it steered me in the right directions whenever i had questions. I have a 49 chevy 3100, hence the name, that is a restro/rod. Ive tried to keep it orginial as i could, it was a basket case when i got it, minus the engine, tranny and rear end as it has a 350 with a 700r4 and a 74 Nova rear end. Is your truck lowered a bit at the front? Nice truck.

It has a Mustang2 frontend with half coil cut off each spring.Before i cut the coils, it was very siff and wanted to bind up a bit. Here is some more pics durring all the hard work. work in progress

Thats one sweet ride and I bet it turns a lot heads going down the road. I know you will have a lot to contribute to the Bolt as we go along.

I still am suprised how well it turned out as bad as the cancer was on it. The pictures doesnt show realy how bad as when i took the cab off of the frame the firewall and all that supports the front of the cab collasped and allowed it to drop down. It was partly my fault as if I would have kept the doors on it while lifting the cab off, it wount have dropped but i was trying to reduce the weight for me and a friend to lift it off. | | |
