Went to shift from 2nd to 3rd last week....went into neutral and that was it!!
Any suggestions?

If you push down on the collar and turn it you can lift the shifter out and take a look. I can see where it sets in the little slots. Any other suggestions? Is it possible that the pressure plate collapsed and it is stuck in neutral? The slots. If it is in neutral all the slots should be lined up. Try to move one of the rails with the screw driver. Each on should go forward & back one at a time. 2 rails cannot be moved forward or back when another is. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
