I just bought a pair of door springs for my '51 P/U. BUT there were no instructions for putting them in. Any help appreciated.

There is a write up on repairing the door hinges in the tech tips. I think there is a pic or something mentioned about them. I think you have to take the hinge out to put them in.... BUT it seems I read here somewhere about someone putting them in without taking the hinge out???

If your hinges is worn now would be a good time to rebuild them.
...oh, and when you put them in hold your mouth just right and using a few swear words usually help..but they not THAT bad. smile

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
