My daughter and I just picked up a 1955 1st series 3100 that she intends to drive to school next year. Haven't had a chance to start taking it apart yet but the previous owner actually drove it to my house. It is all original and still starts right up. Needs quite a bit of work though. The one item getting me nervous is that there is substantial rust on the frame rails at the front of the rear springs. The frame looks good everywhere else. Have to take the bed off and get a better look. This will be a fun father daughter project.
