First i have 2 wiper motors that I rebuilt, one is one speed and the other is 2. I now find out neither fit my dash because the hole the motor goes into is too small. Checked my parts 60 burb and it has a bracket that is welded to the area around the hole making a larger mount (factory mounted)my 62 doesnt. Another wiper motor I have has a small nose that fits into the opening, but I'm wondering about the spacing (how far it sticks through) and also the plastic gear is shot. anyone needs nice wiper motors and where can I get the nylon gear? Also, when installing window guts does the regulator assbly go in first, or the window tracks? Does the window go in before the vent? Thanks guys!

Wiper stuff is too old for me(on 64-66 they all the same)-I would figger the diff was two speed VS one speed wipers, on the windows=regulator first, then window, then rear track IIRC.

thanks 64! speed doesn't matter on the wipers, one big nose is 1 speed the other is 2 speed. has to do with the worm gear i believe but still doesn't explain the difference between 60 and 62.

apparently the 62 wiper motors are rare! mine has the cover that is removable, the plastic gear is shot!
