John and Peggy, can you please help me? For the last few days when I attempt to go on Stovebolt I'm told I'm not logged in. When I attempt to log in my password is rejected.

What shall I do?

Thanks.

Did you try the "Forgot my password " thing at the bottom? You might have to go that way and change it so you can get back on.

No but sometimes if you have filtered out the cookies it will do that. It forgets your password.

Joy, I didn't give up. Each time I come to stovebolt I have to request a temporary password. There is probably a simple solution to this problem but I have no computer skills so I don't know what it is.

When I first joined stovebolt I wrote down my password and put it in my Rolodex under "Stovebolt". That password is no rejected. Can I keep my user name a pick a new password?

Ray - now you are logged in, go to "MyStuff" > "Edit Profile" up above and there's 2 boxes you enter a new password into - use the old original or pick a new one, should fix you up - make sure you click the "Submit" button at the bottom to save the profile change

I was having the same problem today. I've never had to log in, it's done automaticly, but today I had to log in. No problem, but then when I went into a topic(thread, whatever) I was loged out. Had to log back in. I had to log back in every time I did anything. ???

the 'bolt cookie got deleted, or your browser isn't accepting cookies - or maybe the cookie file is too full, try deleting them and log in again

Just now saw this. Yar, Did Squeeze get you fixed? If not, email us at "editor@stovebolt.com" and we'll get you going. Usually, though, it's as Squeeze says with the cookies.

Regards,
John
