For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 163 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 163 | I have two holes for a wiper motor on the drivers side. I'm not sure what one I should be using. I'm also not sure if the motor I have is original. See Page 2. http://rides.webshots.com/album/579922456jFVpcIWas a passenger side wiper an option? I welded the hole up because I didn't have a motor for that side. There was a total of 4 holes for wipers motors, two on passenger 2 on drivers. I believe the passenger side was an option.
Im betting the hole that is supposed to be used on your truck is the one on the right side of your pic. I think its about 14" from the divider strip in the windshield.
Did you ever get my email involving GMC COE part numbers?

One pulls in/out the other turns. I think the turning one is supposed to adjust the speed, but I see little or no effect from it. Pulling the in/out lever part way does give a slower speed. | | |
