I expect that a galleon of primer would be plenty. I probably will lay down 2-3 coats of base and 2-3 coats of clear. Would a galleon of each (base & clear) be enough? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 | I'm guessing you're ok on primer if it's 2:1 on the mix with the option of adding reducer to put down thinner ,wetter final coats.
Color is harder to gauge.... If you're doing EVERYTHING inside and out including entire cab/bed top and bottom you may want to have an additional quart or so handy. (Especially if (like me!) you have to deal with a a "do over" on an area. ) Materials are getting expensive, so this is always dicey.
As for clear, my experience is by more than you think you need. You'll use it!
