Does anyone have any suggestions for good places to have a restoration on it done?
Also same for the radio. What is the best place to have it sent out to and fully restored to it's original state.

He put a new head in and I had already did the facing. I also took him the new needle to put on it and he put the letters on the mileage wheels. Then again my 37 was a different animal and I had a little more in it....about $200.
Like a lot of things, it depends on what all it needs. Call them and ask for an "average" as he has done many of them....or drop it in one of those cheap priority mail boxes and send it to him for an estimate. With the money your talking about and with the potential savings I'd not worry about $10 postage to either get it done or sent back to another place.
