Hey there 409 Cabover, the link isn't working. I'd like to see your cabover as I've got one also 1972 T9500. Not many of them on here and not much discussion about them.

I was able to see it.

The 409 looks good.

It's got Air Brakes too.

Welcome to the site.

I like the truck. If it was all yellow I'd call it Big Tonka!! Nice catch there 409 cabover.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Try this:

I like it. Millions of bushels of grain were hauled from the Texas Panhandle to the Gulf ports with 409 Chevs in the 60's. And I was out there racing them with my GMC with a 371 Olds in it and a working 5th.

409cabover, where are you located? I've never seen one of those models with a dump box on it. I like it.

409cabover,
Mine has a 637 V-8 275hp, 13000miles and 652hrs. on it, it was a local firetruck. The 637 replaced the V-12 in 1967. I had tried to find a V-12 but had no luck.

I'd love to see the tandem COE can you get a picture of it?.

I have 1970 T-60 Fire Engine with a 427 V8.

OK, Thanks... thumbs_up

While your looking at the truck comfirm it's a true tandem...the second alxe could be a Tag Axle.
