I have heard "Suburban", but don't know which years, etc.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thank you, Bill

Also late '80's Jeep tank works. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 25 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 25 | I have a Ford mustang tank that is practically made for this application. I just trimmed a slight amount of frame width off the bottom of my frame rails, and it slides in perfectly. The C channel on my frame actually widened a little towards the rearend. I didn't have to trim very much. I removed my rear cross brace rivits, and made it removeable and used bolts to install it back in place. The year was 1968-1970 I believe. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 677 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 677 | I just finished a tank install, I went with a Universal Tank I didnt have to cut up much to get it in there and it was a clean install. Why not go a step farther and put in a filler in the fender where if you spill any it drains down to the ground. You can always wipe it off the ground and not ruin the paint or finish in the bed. 62Blue Don
