Hi all,
The serrations under the heads of the door bolts for my '56 3600 are shot,no matter how tight, the doors keep moving.I have tried star washers to no avail,I have looked online but nobody has these bolts in fine thread.
Any help?

only time I've seen them from the vendors is in complete hardware kits, might be able to find them at a hardware store or maybe someplace like McMaster-Carr

Do you have an ACE Hardware? In my areas they carry a big selection of all sorts and grades of bolts. Take one of yours with you.

if you have a fastnal in your town they can get them

If your hinge bolt is the same as the 47 to 54 then classic parts has them

True value usually has a good bolt selection.

You may want to consider keeping the fine threads

Good luck

Well pop, that Fastenal is certainly the definitive answer, just exactly what the doctor ordered. I really like that when I don't have to spend three hours chasing down a suggestion.
