My question is this, what holds the windlace in place on the door posts in front of the dash. I have the moldings above and below the dash but nothing at the dash. The dash is tilted back at this point to meet the the cowling frame work and windshield. A photo would be really appreciated.

But,from memroy there is a windlace that come the front pillar and stops...then the one that comes across the door "butts up to it".... as I said, I'll get a pic later this week. I did mine from and ORIGINAL that had sit in the woods for 40 years after the original owner wore the truck and parked it. I used it for my parts truck.

After looking at Jeff's interior, it looks like I have a piece of trim missing. It looks like there's a piece that belongs directly below the upper door post trim piece where it meets the dash. I used an after market piece of trim from the bottom of the dash to the floor on the lower door post.

I just looked at mine and their is no windlace at all on the edge next to the dash. I have windlace that goes up the edge of the door to the top where it meets the piece coming across the top edge of the cab and held in place by the piece of moulding.. Here is a couple pics that might help.....
