I have a guy who may be interested in buying a set of box sides from my '41 1/2 ton. He has a '38. Are they the same, or are there differences between the years?

I tried checking the 1929-51 Master Parts Manual, but it only states 1941-53 as being the same and it does not show box sides for earlier than 1941, unless the information is in another section. ohwell

Thanks, Jeff

Hy rustednuts, according to my Canadian parts book, 1938,1939,and 1940 all have different part numbers, and as you stated the 1941 - 53 are all the same. I was looking in group 17.505, hope that helps

The 37-39 bed sides are different from the 40-46. Not only are they different sizes, but the stake pocket is a different shape and the later years have a larger curl.
Hope this helps.
